Thank you for your response. I've live in this neighborhood for 70 years. This property was always in pristine shape by the previous owners.....great pride in their yard. Makes me sad to see this mess.

This mess was reported 8/26/14.....nothing has changed...now 10/21/14.....what is the status of this report? Is it hopeless?

Update from Codes: an investigator visited the reported property on Aug 28th and found that there was overgrown ground cover, so a notice was posted giving the property owner 10 days to comply with the request to cut the vegetation. A re-inspection on Sept 12th found that the property was still in violation, so the investigator called and spoke to the property owner, who said they would have the yard addressed. A subsequent re-inspection was performed on Sept 22nd and the yard was found to be in compliance at that time. The case was closed on Sept 23rd. It is difficult for me to believe this property is in compliance. This lovely property continues to be an eyesore in our lovely neighborhood. The former owner Mr. Randall Dodd father was the developer of driftwood a famous architect and artist. They would be aghast to see what has happen to their wonderful home. The outside is and has been an eyesore for our neighborhood. Our code dept should be ashamed of their low standards for Crescent Lake area. I was born and raised here....I'm 70.
I guess we can't demand people to have pride in there property. Too bad it affects us all.
