Contacted Broward County left turn signal short cycling.

I agree! Just yesterday, I was stuck for almost 8 minutes on Pines trying to turn onto Hiatus. When the left turn arrow comes on, only 2, MAYBE 3 cars in each lane can get thru the light. (The 3rd cars are turning on yellow) this is INSANE! The traffic backs up way past the turning lanes into the traffic. I was there around 2 or 3 pm, certainly NOT rush hour nor lunch time. Why is this so difficult to fix? Does someone need to borrow my stopwatch to set the time? Sorrow for the sarcasm but this shouldn't be that difficult or take that long & should be more of a priority.

Spoke to Br. Co. Traffic and on 9/24/14 the history of the traffic signal @ Pines Blvd & Hiatus Rd shows that an emergency vehcile triggered the signal @ 2:34pm to change cycles so the emergency response could clear the intersection. It can take 2-3 cycles for the traffic light to change back to the regular cycle. Please keep in mind that this can happen at all traffic signals.

Well, quite the coincidence. I'll be by that same route again soon. I go to the Community Garden & home so we'll see if it's back to a 'normal cycle'. I'll be sure to let u know. Thanks for ur update.
