I am the assistant general manager at the San Diego Metro KOA Resort in Chula Vista and was showing Chula Vista PD Community Relations Officer Sarah Mendoza the large parcel of undeveloped property east of our RV park storage yard. My concern is the field is filled with dry brush and may become a fire hazard with the homeless encampment about 300 yards east of our property. I wanted to bring this to the City’s attention so that city maintenance might cut back all the dry brush to reduce the fire hazard next-door storage yard with almost 600 RVs and boats in it.
