Wow, that brings memories!! Fautums/Doctors/G&G/Gil Grey's and about half a dozen other ambulance businesses depending on the current mood of the Civil Division Sheriff. What a time THAT was!!! Makes you appreciate what outfits like Mobile Life did for that profession in this area. Someone could write a book about it, but no one would believe it.

The time you are talking about is daytime, 8AM. You live in a city, not the country. You live on a well traveled city street. You need to get ear plugs, move, or insulate the room you sleep in. The world is not going to stop just because you work nights. They are not doing anything wrong, just daily business.. The price you pay for living in a city.
