Hitting a pothole at 55mph is more dangerous than at a slower speed. This is a serious safety issue.

Currently the DOT, has been diligently working on repaving not only the eastbound Northern State on the south side but has been repairing it's sister side on the north. I could not have been happier and I would hope that Newsday's efforts to publish which roads needed reworking have been the reason. Bravo to Newsday!!!

The East bound size was resurfaced. It is MUCH better, but, if I was the State, I would not pay the contractor. The road is "wavy", and should not be. I guess we will have to get used to it.
