Still dangerous to people riding their bicycles in the appropriate lanes. People on bicycles are forced to swerve into the motor vehicle traffic lane to avoid losing control due to large gravel pieces in the bike lanes. This situation applies to both east and west directions, especially at construction sites. Can the City not require developers to keep those areas passable? As it stands right now, a bicycle rider will get hurt or killed because of the inaction on the City of Huntsville’s part. I feel I take my life in my hands on this road on which the speed limit is 45mph for cars. I’m obeying the law by using the bike lanes, so please give some consideration.
