How in the world has the dilapidated Inglewood Bowl been allowed to stand vacant 30+ years. It has to be a haven for vermin of all descriptions.

Thank you for following up on this dump located on Gallatin Road in East Nashville.

It is across the street from the Krogers at Greenwood, behind the Family Dollar, the old Hollywood Video, and partially adjacent to Inglewood UMC.
Thanks

First of all, congratulations on a smashing re-election victory. I'm sorry you are no longer my council rep. I just got back from the location in question. It is at the juncture of Home Road and Baxter Street. Someone has cleaned up around the place since I first complained. However, it gets a new load of junk and debris every week or so. The only thing down there on the property is a pile of several old flat tires. It's right in front of the fence that encircles the building. Thanks for looking into this,
Bill Covington

I'm not sure who you think I am - but I am not a council representative,m but rather a Codes & Building eSafety employee. Codes has not received a request for this locaiton since 2010. The address is question is 3501 Baxter Street. Codes notified the owner to maintain the yard area, keep ot clean from any junk, trash or debris and to make specific repairs to meet the minimum requirements of the code - which was done on December 9, 2010 and Codes closed the case file.
If you were reporting illegal dumping and the grounds not being maintained, that would have been reported to Metro Health at that time - not Codes. I will be happy to submit a request for the illegal dumping on the property.
Click Fix is not the official Government website. In the future, please use the official Codes and Building Safety website to report a code violation and to gain a status on a request to ensure your requests are received and answered.
