There is a real problem trying to get out onto Albemarle Road off of Cabarrus Road any time of the day, specifically in the a.m. Clear Creek Elementary School sits directly across the road and when school is in session, which is more months out of the year than not, it is almost impossible to take a left toward town because all of the school traffic is trying to take a left into that parking lot. A TRAFFIC LIGHT WOULD BE GREAT. I realize that put a light rather close to the one at Albemarle Road and Highway 51, but something needs to be done!

This is a HUGE problem area. The problem was created when the school changed bell time. This now means that morning drop off is during rush hour. I have called the school, CMS, and the state DOT...they all admit the problem but the state will not do anything at this time except a traffic study. This morning, it took me 30 minutes to get from from my house to Hwy 51 - which is 1.7 miles away due to a wreck. Drivers are pulling out in front of oncoming cars and doing crazy things - someone is going to get hurt. We need this FIXED!!!!!
