I am a wheelchair bound person. The sidewalk in front of my house is all ripped up due to root system of tree. It is impassable for me. I have placed numerous calls to the dpw...to rectify this issue but I've had no response .please contact me R. Scott Marcy. 781-233-4234 thank you

The Director went out and inspected this location on 7/8/14 and he has placed this on the "Major Priority" list. This sidewalk will be repaired in the next couple of years. The Town is only allocated enough to do 300 linear feet of sidewalk, so the areas that are heavily traveled are done first.

I'm sorry, I do not feel that I should have to wait two years to get this problem fixed. I understand you have a limited budget and a certain percentage of feet that you are allowed to repair. I believe I'm only asking for about 10 to 12 feet of sidewalk to be repaired. Please reconsider this request. Thanks Scott PS I don't want to damage my wheelchair trying to navigate the bumps so that I can go up and down the sidewalk.
