Update: no modifications appear to have been made to the crosswalk sign/ stoplight timing. Would still very much appreciate and encourage the city to address this issue for pedestrian safety. There is a high volume of cars turning from Erwin Rd into this entrance of the VA hospital and also a high volume of cars exiting the VA and turning left onto Erwin Rd. I would like to point out that the problem will be even more severe when the Eye Center entrance is re-opened to traffic. Pedestrians need a pedestrian-only crossing period during which cars are not allowed to turn - and I still advocate for a no-turn-on-red sign as well.

Has the city made any adjustments? I do not see any signs of a no-right-on-red or a pedestrian-only window in the light timing.
