I noticed that a new day care center is being prepared next to the abandoned day care on Walnut Creek which will be unsafe for the children that will soon be arriving at the new center, i.e. snakes and all kind of varmints. The city should insist that the owner clean the old day care site. Not only because it is an eye-sore but could pose potential danger (s) for the children and staff of the new day care.

It has been a year since this issue was first reported. Can you give us an up-date?

The day care property on Walnut Creek Rd. has yet to be cleaned or mowed. There is a for sale sign on the property, so is that realtor responsible for the up-keep? I'm sure they are in contact with the owner(s).
