The school zone sign appears a few hundred feet after two schools that are located on North Loop, Rd. The school zone should start before approaching the schools. Can someone please look into this?

Thank you for reporting your concerns about street safety in Alameda. The sign you reference is appropriately placed for Coastline Christian Schools, though conditions (line of trees and roadway curve) require that it be set back farther than usual. The City doesn't place school signage for daycares and preschools.
