Deskripsyon
The convergence of 16th, Pine, and Madison causes issues, but if that intersection can't be reengineered, than at least a "Stop Here on Red" sign and painted line would help. There should be one at 16th and Madison for drivers heading East on Madison, stopping them to wait for the red light before they cross and block 16th to the South. This would allow drivers going "straight across" from 16th/Pine from the North to have clear access to cross Madison and also allow drivers heading West on Madison to make a left turn onto 16th without obstruction as lights are changing. Right now drivers heading East on Madison don't know where to stop as the light changes to red and the traffic in the near lane creates a blind spot for anyone trying to proceed South on 16th that blocks their sight of the oncoming traffic in the curb lane.

HI Darren,
Seems like this is a very important issue for a lot of people in your community.
Keep at it and hopefully something will get done!
If anyone else has other solution suggestions for the city, please offer details.
Also, if anyone has any supporting anecdotes or photos to illustrate the gravity of this issue, that would probably help speed things along.
Good luck!
