It's the town of Vernon; however, it's a state road (Rts. 30 and 83), so I think DOT is responsible.

I would chose "traffic" as the request type, or "ASK FOR SERVICE REQUEST" and fill in the rest of the fields.

I know it's probably a DOT thing, but in many cases the town can manage traffic signals as well. However, it's usually best to start at the bottom and work your way up.

Thanks for your help. I talked with someone at DOT and gave her the information; however, she couldn't find Vernon on her map!! Oh, well.

It's a place to report specific problems to the DOT. If you don't hear back, I would suggest also trying the town. Police departments generally can manually adjust a traffic light if there is a safety problem or if they need to adjust for a special traffic event.
