This tree has not been touched. I've been waiting for a very long time. Not sure why you would close it if it has not been completed.

Private property issue: There is a very old tree in my neighbor's yard that over hangs my house. It was trimmed in the spring so it is better. But it still over hangs my house & fence. This will cost me thousands of dollars in lost solar power which I am in the process of installing. The tree specialist was concerned that trimming it more would kill the tree so he only pruned it. There is another tree very close to this tree that would flourish better if big tree was gone. Is there any way this could be evaluated by the town tree dept that would see my side of the problem? I see it as a safety problem and a block to going green.

Unfortunately, the City does not get involved in private tree issues. Refer to Massachusettes General Laws as for your rights to tree pruning on private property.
