Description

This block, along with several other in the vicinity, have absolutely absurd parking rules for street sweeping. On either Mondays or Tuesday, street dependant, you have to move your car by 7 am. First off, I've never ever seen a street sweeper out at 7 am. Secondly, you can only park on the other side of the street from 7am - 7pm. Therefore, there is absolutely no window of opportunity to move your vehicle. This presents a serious problem and gives ticket enforecement the opportunity to ticket your car if you do not move at exactly this time. At 7pm, you have to move your car back to the other side. The catch is you can only park on the non-street sweeping side from 7am-7pm so you have to come back and move your car AT EXACTLY 7pm. Secondly, do the street sweepers REALLY need 12 hours to do their job? C'mon! So essentially the problem is the city has given no "leway" or "gratuity" time to move your vehicle at the beginning and end of the day. This is clearly sleazy bureacrats (what a shocker in this city, can't say I'm surprised) trying to get as many tickets out as possible and making it ridiculously hard on residents to move their vehicles.
