Description
There is a very loud church service in this area, every weekend! They seem to be outside, with an amplifier. This goes on for HOURS, on Saturday and Sunday. I live three blocks away and I can still hear them, even with the windows closed and the radio on! I know they have been asked multiple times to turn it down. Don't people need a permit from the city to do this? Where is the alderman on this?

I agree that the service at Whalley near the Boulevard is extremely loud at times, with speakers that are far above the limits of the city's noise ordinance. Although I happen to enjoy the festive atmosphere here whenever I walk by, I don't live within a few blocks so I understand why it could be a serious nuisance at certain times, especially if it is constantly going on day and night (which it seems to be).
Have you tried contacting your Alderman, or talking with the organizers?
Your issue seems to be showing up in the wrong location on the map here.

This is not an actual church building, this is a bunch of people outside with amplifiers blaring. I don't need to attend the service, I can hear them loud and clear from 3 blocks away with my windows shut! They have been asked to turn it down many times., yet weekend after weekend they turn it back up.
I am not in any way trying to impede on anyone's right to worship, this is not about religion or religious services. It is about someone not understanding that their right to worship as loudly as they want to ends when it impedes on other people's right to a little peace and quiet.
