I agree. Another note to mention is pedestrians walking the hike and bike trail commonly do not realize it is not a 4-way stop and walk into traffic. I have see many incidents at this intersection. Also, the nicholson traffic (right of way) feels like it is a smaller street and should yield, but it is actually the opposite. The intersection is quite dangerous.

A thousand times to this. I use Nicholson, both the street AND the bike lane a lot, and this intersection is a hazard. Way overdue to become a 4 way stop. As Seth points out, bike lane traffic don't realize it's not a 4 way stop until it's too late - cars parked on 18th block visibility. Some cars treat it as a 4 way stop, some don't - so it's always a guessing game. 4 way stop solves all of these problems.

Traffic at this intersection needs to be.rationalized with a 4 way stop. Currently it's a dangerous guessing game.
