I have been trying to call the City of New Haven tree department to get a concrete update on this tree, and the phone line "apparently" is always busy. Not sure if the department decided to turn off there system because of "budget cuts." I was told in person that this tree would be removed by this summer. Well summer is getting closer to end and this tree is till here. This morning I see that the city is trimming the tree of a neighbor across the street! I am getting infuriated by the lack of communication from this department and empty promises. The city and state loves to take our hard working tax money without a blink, but doesn't want to do their job that we pay them to do.
