I'll buy and fly a new flag if need be and give the retired one a proper rest.

I can't take a flag down from city property. But I will call the VFW tomorrow and see if they will notify the proper authorities in the city.

The Parks and Recreation Department have been notified and informed us they will have it taken care of as soon as possible
