Have you ever tried to make a left hand turn onto High St from Center? They need to not only keep that light but put one at Center St. The cars come flying around that curve and police are always pulling people over for speeding.

The light in question is not at Center & High. Why would you support a light that is halfway between blocks at an intersection that no longer exists?

It HELPS to slow down traffic. Apparently you have never made a left hand turn onto High St. from Center and had someone fly around the bend and almost hit your rear. It happens more than you'd think,. I know. I live on the corner. Also, where will people cross High St. if there is no light. People already got hit here and my son was one of them.

Please learn to READ!!! it is NOT at Center Street. I agree one is needed at Center, but having it a half block to the east will not stop someone coming around the bend to the west.

So why want to get rid of it if it is not going to be replaced FIRST!!!!!!!!!! At least I'm brave enough to say who I am.

Again READ. I said MOVE it to a place it is needed.

It is still there. People get to sit in the street and look at an abandoned lane to a vacant lot.

Another year, and another year of people sitting in the street wasting time and fuel while waiting for someone to drive up the flooded dirt pathway that used to lead to a functional factory, but is now a vacant brownfield waiting to be reclaimed by nature.

Another year had gone by and we still are stopped to look down an abandoned road and a tattoo parlor parking lot on the other side. Have still never seen car that needed that break in traffic to pull out of either side. Why not just pull the plug?

After many years this red light has become a blinking yellow. Now everyone can slow down and see the abandoned and flooded culvert that used to be a road to a thriving industrial area.
