The ordinance needs to be enforced. We no longer have inspectors riding around spotting violations. At one time people were sitting up grills and selling on corners, Baldwin and Howard, Howard and Perry Auburn and Paddock, where ever they felt like it. No water and who knows how long the meats been in the cooler or where it was before.
People get away with things because we let them and the next thing you know, it's something else. The coment " It's Pontiac, what do you expect" DISTURBS ME. It needs to stop and it starts with us. It starts with little things and now as of Aug 1, 2011 OCSD will be in Pontiac and maybe when a call comes in siding or windows being stolen, we will get a different answer than we've been getting in the past.
