SeeClickFix is a platform that the City uses to respond to issues such as potholes, problem properties, graffiti, parking issues and many more. Our main goal with SeeClickFix is to quickly evaluate, respond and resolve the issues that are reported. We found that when residents repeatedly reopen tickets and comment on others that have already been addressed, it takes away from them being available to fix, repair, evaluate etc. While we do encourage residents of Malden to express any concerns they have at length, SeeClickFix is not the most efficient way to do so.
If you are looking to have an open discussion, please note the many ways in which we encourage public discourse. 1. We have a Facebook page with open commenting that we respond to regularly. 2. We have a Twitter account that we actively monitor and respond to. 3. We have an Instagram page that is rapidly growing in followers and we have been ramping up our activity on. 4. We have a public meeting quarterly known as "City of Malden Live" where residents can either ask questions live online and/or in person directly of City officials.
