Something happened about 10 days ago (around July 10), & this traffic signal is working incorrectly. It is keeping the primary traffic (Prince st.) stopped, while giving the green light to Farris, which rarely has cars. Traffic is backing up in long lines in all 3 lanes on Prince (there is a turn lane) sitting at stop, while there is little to no traffic on Farris.
This light previously worked fine. Currently, I can not make it past this light without being stopped. Please fix, as it is impeding traffic flow.

I work at Domino's Pizza on Prince, and that signal has had problems for years. It will often give eastbound traffic the protected left turn, even when there are no vehicles in the turn lane, which severely inconveniences westbound traffic.
A few months ago our owner received a letter from the Prince St. Merchant's Assoc. (or something like that) detailing plans for road improvements, including converting the intersections at Salem and Farris (and possibly Morningside, although I think that would be overkill) to traffic circles. I think that's a great idea, and I hope they are able to persuade the city to approve this plan.
