Why are our public parks without trash receptacles? The littering in Oakland is out of control but a good start would be for the city to provide proper trash receptacles at entrances of all parks. Brookdale Park has one trash container at the far upper end (Nevil Street entrance) of this large very active park. Unacceptable.
