City was contacted previously, Kroger changed nothing.

Because truck drivers are limited on how much driving they can do in a set amount of time by the Federal Governments Department of Transportation if that driver doesnt have the hours to sit around and wait till after 4 the Kroger doesnt get its delivery until that driver takes a break for an entire 11 hours. moving the truck after that is a $1,500 ticket if that truck moves after they have no hours and an additional $1,500 for every 15 minute interval that passes with that truck moving. or would you prefer to have fatigued truckers driving around for 24 solid hours falling asleep behind the wheel of 80,000 lb missiles? i guess your sleep is more important then the lives of others?

Thank you for reminding me how important my sleep is, as I am a CDL Class A holder and an active driver in a fleet.

BTW, most of these trucks delivering at strange hours are mostly Kroger fleet daycabs. That's all in dispatch's hands. A driver can legally refuse to drive if he is over hours under protestion from . No excuses, Kroger.

This dock noise is in violation of local nuisance bylaws. That doesn't matter right now, as plenty of morons love shooting off fireworks at 1 AM most nights.
