Update: an inspector from Community Services determined that the trees in question are not in the City's right of way, and therefore would have to be removed by the property owner. This issue has been referred to the Codes department as the trees pose a potential safety hazard. Any updates from Codes will be shared here.

It is sad to see that our own city can not help a neighborhood or a home owner who obviously can not afford the cost of cutting down a true danger to people's life's. Maybe after someone or child gets killed you will listen and help. Meanwhile I can't let my kids play with out worry.

I will be bringing this to the local news now maybe you will do something about after that. Fingers crossed.

While standing outside a code inspector dove down the roD stop for about 3 seconds did not exit his vehicle Nd then just proceeded down the road. Again it is sad to see people not care about other people's safety

Update from the Codes Compliance Department: a case (#14-00011866) was opened on 6/20/2014 and is currently active and being investigated. A violation notice and a legal action warning letter have both already been sent to the property owner of record who will be given time to address the issue as prescribed by city statute. Any further action will be taken by the Codes Department as needed based on the action of the property owner and any other related circumstances.
