Sharraxaadda

Last year my street did not get cleaned-swept. That was the 1st year in 20 years that it was not done. I live at the low end of the street where all the mud and silt settles out and collects in front of my driveway and then is tracked onto to my drive way every time I leave or arrive. I asked to have the street fixed a couple years ago when they repaved it but did not happen. I believe at the rate the street cleaning is going it will be fall before my street is done, if it gets done. Some years I have tried to move the mud down the street with a hose but my water bill doubled last time out. This is not only frustrating but has also caused damage to my driveway surface and money out of pocket. I also hope the sweeper operator doesn't blow by without doing the job. In years past I was able to flag the operator down and have them return to finish the job but I am not always around to make that happen.
