Description
Two separate construction projects - one on St. John and especially one on I-91 exit ramp - are subjecting this residential neighborhood to loud noise (jackhammers and truck reverse indicators) throughout the night. When will this end/can it be stopped?

Oh man, you must not have lived here too long... The DOT celebrated the holidays in the hood by whanging on a pile driver most nights (if you don't know what it is, you have to look at a picture or a video to understand the magnitude of noise and vibration it causes). They're used to drive beams into the ground with a gigantic weight.
So every night from 11:30 P - 12 A there'd be this WHANG WHANG WHANG WHANG WHOMP WHOMP WHOMP WHANG for our lovely money sucking pit of the Q Bridge.
The DOT's budget and the Q bridge costs by far exceed all the state's human service agencies by a huge magnitude, because it's historically been exceeding corrupt and handed out million and now billion dollar contracts to private industry. Although O&G has traditionally been relatively honest. Gov. is no fool, he wants money to maintain itself. Who cares about the mentally ill, the MR, the poor, recent immigrants, the elderly, education? Forget THAT stuff.
The Q bridge is paramount. How could we ask out of state drivers to take alternate routes if they ran the pile driver during the day, because I'm 99% positive it will be back.
Can they run bihourly trains from NH to Hartford to cut 91 congestion by 75%? I think not. Who would benefit in the private sector from that. Give my mentally ill clients, the ones talking to themselves & blessing the phone poles, a sangwich & a buck when they're on the street. Thanks,
