Level the concrete slab in road at 22nd st. The top of slab is higher than surface of road.

After repaving Hoosick Street, now is the time to raise all of the storm drains to road level by inserting one or two more grates (a grate sandwich) to eliminate the bumpy ride along the curb lanes. Short of doubling the grates, a square frame could be placed in the grate hole before the grate itself is put on top. It is too bad the recent paving didn't pay any attention to the depressed grate problems on this major highway. (If this idea works on Hoosick Street it could be applied throughout the City of Troy. It could be modified to raise manhole covers and water shutoff covers. It would be a major blow for the wheel alignment industry but the drivers deserve a break!)
