Description

The greenway trail traffic at Raleigh Boulevard is forced onto a small sidewalk across the Crabtree Creek bridge just wide enough for two people to squeeze past each other. Traffic moves along at 45-50 mph along here, leading to unsafe crossing conditions. It would be better to redesign this intersection like the Wake Forest Rd, Atlantic Ave, or Capital Boulveard crossings with the trail going under the bridge and on/off ramps.
