Just to be clear this smell isn’t the same as the paint thinner fumes. However I don’t know if it’s coming from PPG or Meredith . I smelled the remains of it this morning around 730 when I came outside. This isn’t good if I can smell it inside my house.

The fire department dispatched a unit to investigate; however they did not smell smoke or any other unusual odors.

Thanks. Probably because it was too late in the game. Also one of the fireman I spoke with several weeks back said he has NEVER smelled anything in the all the years he’s been here. I find that a bit strange. As if all of us are making it all up on the same day at the same exact time etc. a little concerning to hear that coming from the fire department.

I do however appreciate and am grateful we have the FD and that they go to check on things for us etc

I have been informed this smell is coming from Mullins Asphault Plant. . Last night it did the same .. I could not catch my breathe nor sleep. Myself and dog were up all night. This has got to be addressed.
