I am not a fan of people speeding, but i dont freak out about someone going 45mph in a 40 speed zone. But I hear so many people on crotch rockets just nail the throttle that it would not suprise me if some get upwards around 60mph. It is summer time now but during the school year this area gets alot of school bus traffic especially elementary schools. I would like to see the police clock people in unmarked cars get some money for the city with the ticket prices and hopefully people will slow down some. It seems i hear more people going faster when coming from the south going north. I am assuming it is the people coming from being stopped at the red light just north of 13 mile that has the funeral home on the NE corner

Anyway, the transition from 45 to 40 isn't posted very well. I think Warren might be using the stretch of Schoenherr as a speed trap. Speeding at 60 is never permissible, I agree. The point I am trying to make is that there should be better signage for southbound traffic to be aware that the speed limit drops at 14 mile. Then maybe, fewer people would be speeding.
