I agree 100%. This city is filthy, poorly maintained. And worse, no one in city hall seems to care, least of all the DPW. Recently drove through downtown Bridgeport, where many store fronts are boarded up and except for work days is a ghost town. I was surprised how clean it was. Lamp posts. trash cans, sidewalks, curbs. and I'm not talking about the south end of Main St.that was rebuilt. At night downtown New Haven is dark and dirty.Surprised the business owners don't demand better. And all the Mayor could think to do is raise taxes. Right now on Church St. in front of Gateway the curb is loaded with trash. doesn't look like it's been cleaned in days.
