As you travel southbound on 5th Street, crossing over E Byrd Street, the left lane is supposed to be left turn only, with the right lane continuing straight onto 5th towards Tredegar. The left turn only is not very clear, & every morning someone goes straight. This is a high-volume road as MWV & Federal Reserve are located there. Accident waiting to happen.

This situation had been previously submitted to Richmond Traffic Engineering Mgmt Team (20020918465) so that proper consideration and handling can take place accordingly. Because of a longer amount of time that may be involved with this type request, updates or follow up can also be conducted by dialing the Richmond Customer Care Center at 804-646-7000 or Richmond Traffic Engineering at 646-0442 and referring to #20020918465.
This matter is still pending consideration by Traffic Engineering.
