This stretch of NY Route 199 needs a comprehensive study on numerous factors:

Speed Limit, Visibility, Highway and Ramp Lighting, Signage, etc... due to serious accidents which have been occurring here, such as the overturned propane tanker here on 5/27/14.

This long hill from Kingston, NY to the Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge should be considered an Aggressive Driving Corridor, because vehicles constantly speed, weave back and forth between lanes, cut other drivers off, and cause road rage incidents.
