dead issue and the dogs do have fresh water and food. Driving by you can't see inside where the dogs have constant access to. these complaints need to be accurate and fair.

This case is not solved. The person that closed this issue is the animal control officer and she has missed the issue in hand. The issue is that this town office should be linked to a web-site. Just a link fron the Torrington Ct. web-site should do just fine. This should not be that hard to do

Why does the status says that this issue is closed... The person that closed it was the animal control officer. She has missed the whole point. Yes their were some people that were concerned that the dogs were not getting water. I want to know why does this city department have a web-site? Is Torrington hiding something? Thay can add a link to the City Hall site. (post their hours, Dogs that may need help finding homes, Maybe even post the pictures of the aminals that were there for their owners to claim. ) How about even a link to licence their pets prior to pick up.

Why do you need a website for the dog pound? If you want to know what dogs they have there. Get out of your house and go down there, or call to make an appointment. The town doesn't need the extra expense to start up a web page and then monitor it and update it on a daily basis.

Lets all make believe it's 1978 when we didn't have the internet. What would you have done then? Well, do that now!

How does putting pictures of dogs on a website help you? it's better to see the dog in person. Pictures don't portray the dogs true personality.

First of all there is a website called Petfinder that is free to list adoptable pets. Second of all people from all over not just Torrington can see the dogs available. People are not going to drive to the pound to see dogs that they don't know exist! Many of the other Animal Control officers in CT use the Petfinder website. It is not 1978 and you seem to be using the internet yourself. Why wouldn't we use technology to find these animals homes?

This issue is not resolved as there is no website for the Pound.

What is taking so long; it's really NOT that hard to do guys... let's get on with it.

A website is the least of our problems. Let's focus on things that really matter. People are out of work, and they are losing their houses, and you want a website for dogs! Really...

Just because our Country is in the hole does not mean that we let the little things that can be fixed go. That's arrogant!

This issue is not fixed. The person that closed it thinks that he has the right to? The issue has NOT been resolved.

Seems like people want to use the excuse that our country has serious problems to let everything go. That is the best way to dig a deeper hole.

With people losing their homes-so are their pets. I hope that the City gets a site for the animals at the pound.
