There is some kind of mechanical humming noise in this area that is very loud at night. It keeps residents awake at night.

The noise is most likely the cooling units on top of Mill 4, that has recently been renovated. If you were not hearing this last year, but hear it now, it is most likely Mill 4 that has just recently been rehabed.

No, this is closer to Strong Place and Willow Streets. There is something which sounds like industrial fans which run 24 hours a day. The sound at night vibrates my entire house.

When did this start. I would bet they are A/C units. If not on Mill 4, than closer. There are 2 large A/C units at the rear of a 1 story building near that intersection. You need to find the source before you can find a solution.
