This is still a mess. The city needs to inspect the park and work on some drainage solutions so that the trails aren't always muddy. Someone is going to be fall and be injured because of this and the city will be responsible for them being hurt.

Oh, for God's sake. The trail gets muddy because it runs along a creek that overflows its banks from time to time. If you look closely at what is covering parts of the trail at the moment, you will see that it is fine silt from the creek bed -- not coarser mud from the wooded side of the greenway away from the creek. That's why it's so slippery, like powder underfoot. What is there has nothing to do with the sewer project and everything to do with regular flooding of Crabtree Creek. Do we really expect the city to keep trails that run alongside creeks free of dirt at all times? What would you have them do? Spend public funds to dispatch scraping crews every time there is flooding? Build levees to sever the natural relationship between the creek and the floodplain, thus ensuring the channelized creek inundates downstream properties, all so someone can have a trouble-free bike ride? The greenway is located in the floodplain, so named because it occasionally floods. Welcome to nature. It's not always tidy. Get over it.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: PLS FIX THIS SO THAT IT IS SAFE TO USE THE PARK AGAIN. I DO NOT FEEL GOOD ABOUT WALKING IN THE MUD. THIS IS NOT GOOD MAINTENANCE OF THE PARK.
