I actually provided SEVERAL pictures and a cross street location. There is no address. There is an empty softball field right behind the aparments on Thomasville Boulevard. The grass is so high on the sidewalk that you have to walk in the street. It has been like this for years. The sidewalk is covered in weeds. Kids have to walk in the street to get home. There is a fire hydrant buried in there somewhere.
There is a also a stop sign at the corner of Thomasville Boulevard and Fulton Bridge that is covered in weeds. You have to drive out partially into the street to see if a car is coming. I almost got hit by a police car one night.
Ok. I now see one attached photo. Please move the marker to the correct spot on the Google Map and re-open this trouble ticket. It's showing up as being on the state capitol.
I have no idea how to use the goolge maps link attachment or whatever that thing on the side of my screen is. It wasn't even part of my original email to See Click Fix seven months ago. I was able to attach several pictures and now on this link I am only able to attach one. The intersection is Thomasville Bouleard and Fulton Bridge, S.E. Atlanta, 30315. Thomasville Boulevard is right of off McDonough Boulevard and McDonough Blvd is right of off Moreland Ave before you get to the Starlight Drive in.
The weeds are growing into the street and beginning to crack the pavement. I went for a walk in 2009 and haven't been able to walk on the sidewalk since then. Someone owns this propery and they need to come take care of it. It is a serious safety hazzard.
There is a big empty softball field that is overgrown with weeds. Several years ago there was a group that would come every month and play there and now nobody ever goes there and it is seriosly neglected. I have no idea what is going on.
While this issue isn't in Downtown proper, have you tried organizing a community clean-up? We organize one each month to clean-up different parts of our neighborhood.
