Why do we design our roads so that those walking to get groceries must take their life into their hands? New Bern Avenue and adjacent streets are dangerous to cross between Tarboro all the way to I-440 ( and beyond). People walk here every day! This photo was taken at Sunnybrook. Cars were cutting off this woman left and right. If you want to talk near misses, I'd say there were at least 5. She started running in fear. Does someone need to die??
