They have recently change the length of time the green light traffic signal from Clifton Road turning onto Briarcliff Road runs. The green light for Clifton onto Briarcliff is too short for the amount of traffic using this intersection. Only 3-4 cars get through causing a large backup.

I cannot believe that it is taking so long for something to be done about this. All they need to do is extend the green light by approximately 8-10 seconds from Clifton Road turning onto Briarcliff Road. Doing this will alleviate the back-up that now exists on Clifton Road.

I guess they are never going to get around to changing the length of the green light in the morning at this intersection. It's been almost a year that this has been on this board and nothing has happened. All they need to do is extend the length of the green light from Clifton Road turning onto Briarcliff by about 10 seconds in the morning between 7am - 9am. When I use this intersection in the afternoons the length of the green light is perfect - why can they not keep it like that for the morning commute too?

Can you please have this problem fixed. Trying to turn left onto Briarcliff Road from Clifton Road is ridiculous. It takes three red light cycles!

Well, now they have put in a turn lane but they also need to make the center lane an either "go straight or turn left lane". At the moment the center lane has a "go straight" arrow on it that goes into a gas station. Please make that center lane an option to either go straight or turn left - this would solve all the problems at that intersection with cars backing up. Thanks!

Okay, so there have been modifications to the intersection but now can you PLEASE make the middle lane going from Clifton onto Briarcliff a left turn option lane too. This will REALLY help keep the traffic moving.

You guys have created another real problem now. You changed lanes turning from Clifton onto Briarcliff but the lane turns left needs a passing arrow. By the time all the cars are coming out of the QuikTrip and going straight onto Clifton the cars from Clifton turning left onto Briarcliff cannot go because the light has already turned red. It's dangerous! I see numerous cars going through the red light as that is the only opportunity to make that turn.

I agree with Ms. Haviland. The light to turn from Clifton Road onto Briarcliff is too short. All we need is a dedicated turn signal. Currently, the light becomes green for both sides and cars turning must wait for cars leaving the QT to cross Briarcliff before any car can turn. Please help.
