Description

There is a drainage ditch that runs along our property shared with several other neighbors. The drainage ditch used to flow and would be dry in 24 hours after a rain event. The drainage ditch no longer flows. Water stays stagnate in the ditch and in the pipe upstream of the ditch. This is obviously a mosquito concern headed into the summer months. However, the more immediate problem is the smell. We are no longer able to enjoy our back yard due to the smell coming from the ditch and the water in the pipe upstream of the ditch. It smells like sewage.
