What does that answer have t o do with the problems I posted about? Where do you get squatters from? Did you close the wrong problem by mistake?

How about having the DA L& I and LCB look into it?

After speaking to the people working inside the property they insisted that they are renovating it and plan to re-open it as a bar, The out a renewal application being filed with lcb. There is no application sticker posted nor work permits. This needs to be looked into. That location should never be permitted to re-open as a bar again.

I have called the council woman's office of Maria Q-Sanchez and asked if they can look into what is going on there as well as e-mailed her on her face book.

I have contacted Tony Payton's office and requested his assistance with the problem.

Update on the Jolly Post tavern/Primo's Sports Bar situation, neither Maria Sanchez or Tony Peyton have returned calls for help to their offices made on Monday. No building permits posted. LCB has not disclosed the status of the liquor license as of today. Get your bullet proof gear if you leave near Frankford's Bermuda Triangle area it looks like we will all be dodging bullets again soon.

I agree. I repeat if anyone has any accurate information about this property please share it with the community this is not a game, people’s quality of life is a serious issue.

As of today still no reply from Tony Payton's office. At this point any reply he would make would be more helpful than Ms. Sanchez's aid's replys.

At this point only renovations are being done. Permits are only required to do electrical and plumbing work or changing the floor plan. L&I is scheduled to come and inspect the kitchen area when the work is completed. YES people imagine that... A restaurant and bar. A liquor license will not be required until business is due to open. Renovations for the APARTMENTS are nearly completed. Nothing illegal is being done. Stop pointing fingers and do your homework. Legally the ONLY people who have a right to complain about that type of establishment are residents who live within 500 feet of the property. Schools and Churches which are 200 feet also have a voice. None within that area. Please focus on the renovations and ignore the speculations. *sigh* Thank you and have a good day.

Those who don't learn from the mistakes of the past are doomed to relive them. The jolly post claimed to be serving food at that location too. Property values went up went up dramatically when that nuisance location was closed by the Da office.

I'm amused that you only addressed the point that suited you and HOW it suited you. It's quite alright though, the fact still remains that VERN is NOT the former owner. You do NOT have a crystal ball. Every one has a right to their opinion but everyone did NOT have the dollars nor cents to purchase said property to do anything else with this EMPTY building but complain when someone ELSE did.

Well, I am glad you think it is so amusing. I guess we will have to wait and see what the LCB judge has to say at the hearing after all the neighbors testify. No sense in gloating about it here. That building would be better left empty than to be a bar. There are some cronic nuisance locations that just can't be operated as a bar and that is one of them as you will learn if a lic is granted. Will you still be amused when there are more shootings and murders there and drug dealing, The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.
