House Fire 12/29/2012: Trolled by this house the other day 5/2014 and the front lawn has a lot of debris on it along with debris on one side of the house. The side board apparentlywas knocked half-way down. NICE to NOTICE the burned House on Linderman St. close to Wall St. has been torn down. Good Job! Hopefully 78 Franklin is moving UP the list. Burned and Abandoned Properties affect nearby Neighbors House Values.

Once again while walking in MIDTOWN, Kingston, NY, November 2014, FINALLY noticed this HOUSE located at 78 Franklin ST was torn down! Approx. 2 years sitting there - - an eyesore to many. Read in the Kingston Daily FREEMAN that there were No Complaints ? ? ? How do these eyesores IMPACT your neighborhood - Taxes ? ? INCOME, Etc.? Curious minds want to know !

It took two (2) years to Fix (tear down) this house. How did this house & other Abandoned/Unkept properties IMPACT nearby Home owners Income & Taxes ? Does the accessor take these Eyesores into affect when they evaluate value of property. It doesn't take a Rocket Scientist to figure this out! So areas such as Midtown JUST lose? CLOSE this Eyesore, however, doesn't The City of Kingston bear some responsibility?
