A tremendous amount of activity has been generating by HPD around this intersection. Many traffic stops, check subjects and check area calls have generated many calls for service. Several problems with the intersection were identified. Traffic signal timing and paint stripping can be changed to help traffic flow properly into the roadway from private property adjacent to the intersection. Traffic Engineering agrees and is now in the process of writing up the solution and re-striping the traffic flow pattern to the intersection. We will continue to monitor this intersection closely due to the traffic and history of accidents along Sparkman Drive area. Please be patient over the next few weeks until this intersection can get re-painted and the traffic signals re-timed by Traffic Eng.
