I've read before about a "3 fatalities" requirement if traffic isn't deemed high enough but is that 100% accurate? Also, is there a number of high speed collisions/accidents that need to occur before a light can be installed?

This is still a serious issue. I'm not sure what we need to do to make something happen here.

Something must be done at this intersection. I've seen two serious accidents at this intersection in the past 5 days with multiple injuries. I have begun flashing my bright lights even in the day as I approach this intersection and reduce my speed.

Traffic lights are not a solution to what can only be described as driver inattention or driver error. The last thing needed at this intersection is a light that will be difficult (very) to see in the evening as the sun is setting and cause already timid and distracted drivers to respond erratically. I'm not callous and have empathy for those injured but I don't need to read the police report of any of these accidents to tell you that someone was asleep at the switch or looked at their phone or looked right when they should have looked left. Drive your car like you mean to go somewhere and not like a @#$% without direction.
