The area in front of the Water street cafe is now two lanes due to the ongoing Rt. 79 demolition. If you are traveling south on Water street, the left lane is to turn left onto Anawan street. The right lane is to continue south on Water. There are signs pointing this out but until the city paints lane markings, traffic in that are will continue to back up because drivers are not sure what lane is for what or even that there are two separate lanes
