The owner of 818 NW 17th has installed really bright security lights in his back yard. At least five but the large rectangular one is the issue. It is so bright it throws shadows in my north facing bedroom and bathroom. We had to install blackout curtains. The light is on from dusk to dawn and makes my upstairs pretty miserable at night - can't open curtains etc. This is a historic neighborhood with regulations that cover this but I expect this would not be ok anywhere in OKC. The light is literally one that businesses use on loading docks and parking lots and is completely inappropriate for this neighborhood. It is so bright at night you can't look at it. It's in the picture but that's taken from the alley in daylight (yard is unfenced so it is visible without entering the yard.
