There doesn't appear to be a formal way to report violations of failure to yield to pedestrians. A gray four-door Honda Civic with license plate 9EN-E24 dangerously failed to yield to a pedestrian while heading southbound on Blair during morning commute hours. If you know this car's owner, shame them.
Under DC law, drivers are legally required to stop for pedestrians in crosswalks, as long as pedestrians have not entered so abruptly that the vehicle cannot stop. This pedestrian gave the vehicle plenty of room to stop. Despite the driver's rush, the walking pedestrian was able to walk up to get close enough to take this picture while the car was stopped at the light at Cedar. So, the driver endangered life with no gain in transport time.
